From Swans To Starlings

Planning my weeks ahead I have decided to take short trips whenever I can, Since the summer holidays are coming up I going to attempt to plan some big trips to good places but that is ahead of this post. One of my small trips was to Roath Park, I have been there many times and have had some successful shots. Roath Park's downside is that there are usually too many people there to visit plus it being a busy road.

For the second time I forgot my cap and it was a very sunny day and if you have been to Roath Park there is hardly any shelter on the walk around the lake so I had no idea of the pictures outcome until I got back to the house.

This weekend came with its surprise as well as for the first time a Starling visited my garden the next day four visited and I reckon they are going to be daily visitors. I'm happy of course, I did expect them to be one of the first to visit my feeders as the books suggest but they have decided to get themselves noticed near a year after I put the feeders out.
