The origins of the naming of all Wrens as "Jenny" can be found in the nursery rhyme "Sing a song of sixpence"
Apparently little Jenny Wren sewed the maids nose back on after a Blackbird had pecked it off!!
I don't know how handy a wren would be with a needle and thread, but I do know that this one was very handy with moss and dried grass whilst nest building at Minsmere RSPB on Saturday lunchtime.
Lets leave the plastic surgery to professionals eh!!!
