Dying a Little Inside

Ugh...I haven't been anywhere to take some snappys in.....I'll figure it out later. It has came to little surprise that danny is a better blogger than me haha *shakes fist". anyway its midnight got a cold and I felt like a post.

These two pictures were in the archive and were taken the same day as err the winking chick picture. I haven't shown them before because I am extremely picky on what photos are good or not you may think all my photos are rubbish but thats you with your fancy £100000 equipment. It tells a story.

While walking around Roath Park lake passing the old folks and wretched children and since being newish to enjoying nature I witnessed the upbringing of chick, whether it be goose chicks or swan chicks. One family I enjoyed watching in particular. A family of coots, two parents and one baby. I love coots they strike me as being choppsy and cheeky birds but what I witnessed made my heart pound. A lesser black back gull dived in and grabbed the chick but before it could go off with its catch the parents flew in and drove the gull away empty. it may not be much to you but for me it was a first for nature in action, I couldn't take any pictures of this because the sun was blazing and I forgot my cap but a picture of the chick and a parent should suffice.
