So, I thought it was about time that I contributed a bit more to the birdgarden blog.

I've done a couple of trips since my last blog, and the birds still seem to be arriving!

A Hoopoe at Corton was a treat, however viewing and photography was at a distance only.

However, a Woodchat Shrike at Winterton in Norfolk was much more obliging, and showed really well, hunting for grubs right infront of us.

Also, a male Cuckoo was seen, but not heard.

A bit of a rarity these days, but hopefully its only a temporary thing and that they will start to recover soon.

Spring without the Cuckoo's unique call?? Surely not.

So thats what I've been up to. How about you other birdgarden regulars, what do you do?

Until next time,

Danny.
