A White Christmas?

I was not expecting this but Wales has been hit with a large scale of snow and its very deep, sure it was on the news that we were going to have snow but whenever has the news ever been right about the weather forecast? The snow started friday and it came fast and heavy this meant me going out and clearing the feeders and refilling the bird bath in the early hours(this was my lay in day). It also made me think on how hard does it hit the birds? I have always seen wildlife as an adaptable bunch that will work their ways through the tough weather but it did seem the snow has pushed a few back to the gardens as I saw a few birds I never seen in the garden before such as the bullfinch and the chaffinch.

Saturday came and more snow came with it, it doesn't bother me much it's actually quite memorising that such a weather spectacle can be such a danger that it actually a very formidable killer. Even so it didn't stop me from getting some snaps and snow isn't a recurring thing here in the U.K so it was something I had to do and I think it's safe to say I had some success.
