Hello Bird Garden readers!
At long last birds are moving around! Hooray, Hooray I hear you say, that means more fun digiscoping today!!
It seemed like there was almost to much to see, and I really needed to be in 3 places at once, but I chose Kessingland Dunes.
A Wryneck was present, and though elusive at times, it showed really well on the path in front of us.

For those of you that don't know a Wryneck is a member of the Woodpecker family.
Also I had a bit of a chat in more ways than the obvious!! Whinchats and a Stonechat were also present, and showed very well. I seem to have a bit of a record for dipping (birding term for missing) on Whinchats so these were a welcome surprise, and photo!!

Like most small birds, they were extremelly flighty whenever I tried to get close, so I was forced to hide behind a blackberry bush, hence the hazy pics!!
Still a picture is a picture, and I'll take anything after a typically boring August!!
Until next time,
Danny
