Sightings for week 7th to the 13th February

Only got to go out 3 days this week but species made up for numbers at Lackford on the 11th was a nice Meally Redpoll

On the 12 went over to meet danny for a days birding at his local patch first bird we found was the iceland gull that has been at lowestoft for quite a while now then we moved onto strumshaw fen rspb reserve where we saw 2 bittern 2 female goldeneye 2 snipe single female marsh harrier geese and wildfowl, then we headed back to lowestoft as i wanted danny to find we some waxwings that were in the area and good to his word he found me some good old danny top man 20 infact then we headed back to the beach and found 2 mediterranean gulls so a nice end to a great days birding with danny porter a great guide for the lowestoft area thank you so much danny for a nice day out and mia for the company


13th went to lackford nothing much to report today
